A note on corrections

Now that Blocking the Courthouse Door is finally on sale, I'm finding all the inevitable mistakes. Hopefully none are extremely egregious, but in more than 120,000 words, there are bound to be a few. Unlike magazine or newspaper articles, books are difficult creatures to discipline because they're often a one-shot deal. There are few opportunities to re-connect with readers for a mea culpa. The blog is a poor substitute for getting everything right the first time, but it's the next best thing. So I'd like to use this site to collect the book mistakes and issue corrections. Then, when the book is reissued in paperback, I will be able to fix them in book form as well.

So readers, if you see a problem, let me know (and include a page number and enough detail so I can find the offending section)!
