The Expert Witness Goes YouTube

YouTube is one of the most glorious developments of the Internet era, isn't it? Some one just tipped me to this amazing deposition of an accident reconstruction expert used by insurance companies.

I had no idea all these video depos were out there. What fun!

In the meantime, just to test the math skills of our readers: how many of you can turn 3/16 into a decimal number, without a formula book?

"how many of you can turn 3/16 into a decimal number, without a formula book"?

0.1875, or 150% of 0.125 (1/8), right?

It's far too common for professional experts to feign ignorance as part of gaming the deposition process. Without Daubert, there aren't any consequences for doing so.
